Ditch lens tissues

Ditch lens tissuesThey are expensive and too thick to mop up the grease off lenses, but rather they spread it around.  Facial tissues mops off grease better, even if they may leave lint.

That's definitely true, however you need to get tissues that haven't been bleached to get their whiteness and ones without moisturisers added.

Don't use Kimwipes - they are very hard and you risk scratching the coatings off older lenses (as these tend to be quite soft).
